About Me
I am drawn to data science because I enjoy uncovering the story behind the numbers, discovering patterns in the natural and social systems, and bringing insights to life through vivid storytelling and visualizations.
I thrive in the contemplative stages of problem-solving—asking thoughtful questions, exploring multiple perspectives, and following patterns as they emerge. It’s where I feel most creative, and where I believe data holds its greatest potential to address today’s critical challenges.
Outside of work, you’ll often find me immersed in a thought-provoking book or podcast, experimenting with new recipes, or tending to my small garden. These hobbies keep me grounded and curious, constantly fueling my love for learning and reconnecting with the world around me.

With 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer Analyst in the insurance industry, I’ve worked across a range of areas, including mathematical modeling, AI-based automated systems, enterprise system deployments, and cloud migration.
2023-Present (2yr+)
Sr. Software Engineer Analyst III
DXC Technology
I translated complex business scenarios into quantitative models and built hierarchical product structures that captured complex dependencies and relationships in life insurance for Fortune 100 companies.
In my most recent role at the company, I support enterprise-wide cloud migration projects by automating system deployments, designing databases and schemas, and researching emerging technologies to deliver scalable, fully-automated, client-specific solutions.
2023-2023 (6mo)
Associate Programmer Analyst
DXC Technology
I provided production support for insurance models by resolving high-priority defects across 20+ projects and 70 models. I debugged model calculation errors, analyzed extensive production data, and validated mathematical logic across interconnected models and recursive functions.
2022-2023 (1yr)
Technical Intern (Cloud & Security)
DXC Technology
In the first project, I collaborated across cross-functional teams to design a recruitment application with an integrated chatbot. I also built AWS data pipelines for analytics and monitoring and implemented the application's security infrastructure.
In the second project, I led the development of an intelligent threat detection system from design through deployment. I also represented my team in client demos with over 100 participants and facilitated system integration in cross-team collaboration.
2019-2021 (1yr 5mo)
IT Helpdesk Technician
University of Louisiana Monroe
I resolved technical issues for software, hardware, and networks, handling over 300 support tickets.
I provided phone support, conducted field visits to install and maintained university systems, addressed security and network incidents, and managed licensing and user accounts.
2020-2022 (2yr 7mo)
Student Journalist
University of Louisiana Monroe
As a student journalist for The Hawkeye, a student-run newspaper, I reported on campus and local events.
I conducted interviews with students and faculty and researched facts from credible sources to craft engaging news articles and capture diverse perspectives within the community.
2019-2020 (2yr)
Student Researcher
University of Louisiana Monroe
I completed interdisciplinary research in collaboration with a professor. My papers explored the exponential growth of knowledge, metaverse and AR frameworks, and the impact of COVID-19 on the aviation economy

Where I'm Headed
Explore my vision to continuously learn, grow, and contribute to a world where data can inspire change, inform better decisions, and create lasting impact.

Journey
Over time, I’ve moved away from following a set path to pursue one that reflects my inner values. At the core of my work is a deep desire to understand the why behind everyday patterns. Driven by intellectual curiosity and a sense of responsibility, I want my skills to add value to both my workplace and the larger community. I firmly believe that data, when transformed into meaningful insights and wisdom, has the power to create real-world change.
Inspiration
Whether I’m crafting a data visualization or exploring a new topic, I love making sense of the seemingly chaotic—whether it’s during my time as a software engineer investigating security vulnerabilities and troubleshooting bugs, or now in my data science projects. My creative side draws from everyday moments such as gardening, painting, and reading where I see structure and intuition easily come together, just like in analysis and storytelling.
Aspiration
As I look to the future, I’m drawn to areas where data can directly influence positive change, whether through policy reform, climate action, social innovation, or public health. I want to apply my skills in ways that improve lives and contribute to solutions that make a lasting impact on our communities.
